EKA (Eren KOÇ AKADEMİ)
He was born on January 1, 1974, in Balıkesir.He attended Mehmetçik Elementary School (1985), Balıkesir Middle School (1988), Balıkesir Technical High School (1992), and graduated from the Physical Education Teaching program at Dumlupınar University - Department of Physical Education (1999). He completed his education with a Master’s degree in Sports Management from Istanbul Gelişim University (2022).
1992–1998 TFF Football Referee (At that time, in Turkish football leagues that did not include the TFF 1st League), he served for three years in the TFF 2nd League and TFF 3rd League.
1999: Began his career as a youth team coach at Balıkesirspor, leading the 12-14 age group to a 4th-place finish in Turkey.(He contributed to the development of players in the youth system, including Egemen KORKMAZ, Olcan ADIN, and İlhan EKER, who have served Turkish football) and worked with athletes during their early stages in Turkish football.
During the season, he led the provincial team Balıkesirspor—which had been competing in the amateur league and had been unable to reach the professional league for six years—
to promotion back to the professional league, the TFF 3rd League, in the 2005-2006 season.
In the 2000-2001 season, he led Mustafakemalpaşaspor,he achieved the success of promoting the team to the TFF 2nd League as CHAMPION, finishing first ahead of the high-budget Manisa VESTEL and Marmaris Municipal Sports clubs.
In the 2001-2002 season, he began the season with Marmaris Belediye Spor, which was competing in the TFF 2nd League, but later resigned after reaching a mutual agreement following an offer from Kütahyaspor, which was also competing in the TFF 2nd League.
In the 2001-2002 season, he accepted an offer from Kütahyaspor, which was competing in the TFF 2nd League and was in last place in the relegation zone, and led the team to avoid relegation by the end of the season.
During the 2002-2003 season, he served as a coach in the Turkish Naval Forces as part of his military service and led the Naval Academy Football Team to the championship.
In the 2003-2004 season, following his military service, he took over the Anadolu Üsküdar Anadolu SK team—which was competing in the TFF 2nd League—for the final seven matches of the season and successfully kept the team in the league.
In the 2004-2005 season, he signed with Altınoluk Belediyespor, which was competing in the Amateur League, and agreed to promote the team to the TFF 3rd League through a playoff system—which was not yet the BAL League at the time—and secured promotion to the TFF 3rdHowever, they lost to Torbalıspor in the final match of the promotion playoffs. In the 2005-2006 season, an agreement was reached with Altınoluk Belediyespor once again to realize the dream of promotion to the TFF 3rd League.
In the 2008-2009 season, an agreement was reached with Göktürkspor, which was competing in the Istanbul Amateur League, and the team was crowned Istanbul champion.
In the 2009-2010 season, an agreement was reached with Ünyespor, which was facing relegation while competing in the TFF 3rd League, for the second half of the season, contributing to Ünyespor’s survival in the league.
In the 2012-2013 season, an agreement was reached with Eyüpspor Club, which was competing in the TFF 2nd League, and the team completed the season as a league team.
In the 2016-2017 season, he secured Büyükçekmece Tepecikspor’s entry into the Academy League while they were competing in the TFF 2nd League and signed on as the youth development coordinator.
In the 2017-2018 season, he accepted the position at Kocasinanspor, one of Istanbul’s established clubs, as their goal was to advance to the BAL League.
However, due to disagreements with the management that arose in the weeks following the start of the season, his contract was terminated by EREN KOÇ.
