Dutch Business Association Turkey
The Dutch Business Association Turkey (DBA Turkey) is a non-profit association established in 2019 with the aim of promoting, developing, and supporting trade and investment between the Netherlands and Turkey. We bring together Dutch and Turkish professionals through high-level forums, presentations, and networking events to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices across various sectors. Our ultimate goal is to enhance bilateral trade.
We are actively engaged in Istanbul and the Aegean Region (Izmir).
We participate in the quarterly Chamber Corner Events organized by the Chambers of Commerce of Germany, France, Belgium/Luxembourg, Italy, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the United States, Austria, and Switzerland. These events offer an international networking opportunity with businesses operating in the aforementioned countries.
Our association’s president represents DBA at the bimonthly Chamber Lunch meetings organized by the presidents of the aforementioned Chambers of Commerce. At these luncheon meetings, important topics such as customs, education, and agriculture are discussed at the European level.
As part of our strategy and activities, we work in close collaboration with the Dutch Consulate General in Istanbul and the Dutch Embassy in Ankara, regularly organizing joint events.
We are also a member of the Netherlands Chambers International (NCI) Association. Following the successful journey of NLinBusiness.com, independent Dutch Chambers of Commerce in key regions around the world have come together under the Netherlands Chambers International (NCI) umbrella. NCI continues to provide the local knowledge, connections, and practical support necessary for Dutch companies seeking to export, grow, and succeed in international markets. Through this collaboration with NCI, our members gain access to a global network and a broad ecosystem of business partnerships, industry insights, best practices, and events.
DBA is also a member of the European-Turkish Trade and Investment Council (ETTIC).
ETTIC is a non-profit organization registered in the Brussels-Capital Region, with the following primary objectives:
• To promote the development of trade, investment, and economic relations between Europe and Turkey, including but not limited to the modernization of the Customs Union.
• To represent the interests of European businesses and companies within the scope of trade and investment relations with Turkey.
• To support and encourage the implementation of ESG-related legislation, policies, initiatives, and strategies within the European-Turkish business community.
ETTIC works in close collaboration with the European Diplomatic and Economic Network, the Ministries of Trade and Foreign Affairs, and the European Union Delegation to Turkey.
